about me
I'm a Choreographer, Dancer, and Actress based in Liverpool, UK. Recently, I've choreographed and performed in The Blossoms ft CMAT – 'I Like Your Look' and The Wombats – 'Blood on the Hospital Floor', both directed by James Slater. I co-directed, choreographed, and danced in the visual art and movement piece 'Sobject', which toured Switzerland and Cuba. I'm also Co-Artistic Director, Choreographer, and Dancer for Bufo Makmal Dance Collective, based in Basel, Switzerland — winners of the YAA! award.
In 2023, I choreographed IWF 2023s Eurovision Parade, working with 150 volunteers, asylum, seekers, and refugees. My latest collaborations include Neon Snake, an immersive dance, sound, and light installation with Bargain resident light designer and DJ Grinderteeth, and 'Gotas del Mar', a durational dance and sound work commissioned by Culture Liverpool and LEAP Dance Festival for 2024. I'm also a 2023-2024 recipient of Arts Council England DYCP grant for my ongoing research into Access, Fluidity, and the Body. Alongside performance and creation, I offer 1-1 movement sessions under the name Studio Fluid.
If you've made it this far down the page here's a bit about how I started.
My dance experience and inspiration come from many different angles. I began exploring creative theatre and intuitive movement play at a young age, before moving on to Latin, Ballroom, and Jazz at the local village Liberal Club on Saturdays.
At 15, I expanded into Ballet, Tap, Lindy Hop, Contemporary Dance, Cheerleading, and Street Dance. At 18, I attended the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), where I honed my skills in Graham, Horton, Limon, Physical Theatre, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acting, Singing, and Choreography.
At 21, after a six-month stint in Bollywood (primarily Mumbai and Hyderabad), I trained with KCDC in Israel, studying Gaga technique alongside other influential somatic practices.
Since 2012, I've been exploring how movement can be a way to express emotions andconnect with the body on a deeper level — not just through set dance steps. I've trained in gentle, healing-based movement practices like Continuum Movement, Gaga, Feldenkrais, Ilan Lev, and Craniosacral techniques. Along the way, I've learned from inspiring teachers while living in San Francisco, Oregon, London, and Switzerland.
I'm driven by a passion for creating choreography that blends visual patterns, raw emotion, and storytelling — often walking the line between life's mundane rhythms and its magical, otherworldly elements. Whether on film, stage, out in nature, or in everyday spaces, I aim to reveal the unique movement signatures that lie within everyone. One of my greatest joys is
helping musicians find their own physical language — their own David Byrne — through dance.
